Alexander works as a Research Associate for Global Goals Consulting where he is conducting various qualitative and quantitative research and analysis for international organizations and NGOs. He has more than 10 years of field experience in Bhutan, India and Nepal through his studies and his work in tourism. A former fellow of the Austrian Academy of Science’s Institute of the Cultural and Intellectual History of Asia, he earned a Ph.D. in Transcultural Studies from Heidelberg University and a Magister of Philosophy at the University of Vienna. He is a certified PRINCE 2 Practitioner and currently undergoes certification in big data science and analysis.

Justin is the Chief Marketing Officer at Global Goals Consulting. He has over 15 years of private sector experience in marketing, brand building and business development and has worked on campaigns for large companies including First National Bank of South Africa, Viacom Media Networks and Unilever.  He also has first-hand experience with small businesses, both as a founder and early start-up collaborator. Justin holds a Master of Science in Integrated Marketing from New York University and undergraduate degrees in Communication and Marketing Communication from the University of Johannesburg.

Martin is currently employed at a start-up working towards creating stable job opportunities for female Syrian refugees and women from their host communities in the North of Jordan. The start-up is committed to fulfilling the Sustainable Development Goals and is supported by UNICEF. He also worked for the EU-Malaysia Chamber of Commerce and was a passionate and engaged Student Ambassador for The Hague University, where he played a key role in organizing the Model United Nations event and the Peace Conference. Martin holds a  Bachelor degree in European Politics and Business from The Hague University.

Meret is currently working for the start-up „refurbed“ and volunteered at Impact Hub in Vienna as a community host before she started working. Meret is very socially aware and likes to give back to the community by volunteering her time to causes that are important to her. Meret finished her Masters degree in Environmental and Sustainability Management at  IMC FH Krems in 2017.

Michelle currently works for a medical non-profit association and has held various positions in event and congress management. As a result of her international experiences, Michelle has a keen interest in engaging with people to obtain new perspectives on global issues. Volunteering with ACUNS helps her keep those discussions alive outside of work. Michelle completed degree in Music Administration in the United States before moving to Vienna 3 years ago.

Mona joined ACUNS in 2013, volunteering for different projects, and getting involved in various publications, events and conferences before becoming the Vienna Liaison Vice-President in January 2016. In addition to her keen interest in national law she is also passionate about human rights, juvenile justice and (de)-radicalization of youth. She is a jurist, criminal scientist, a trained Mediator and is pursuing her second Master Degree in Criminal Science at the University of Vienna. Mona is also planning to continue with a Bachelor Degree in Psychotherapy.

Nadya is working with two UN-affiliated NGO's namely; the United Nations Youth and Student Association of Austria and the Academic Council of the United Nations System. She has also worked as a contractor for a UNDP project designed to promote competitiveness and increase income for the textiles industry. She has broad research interests including intra-state conflicts and peace processes in the Middle East, political violence, non-state armed groups, violent extremism, ungoverned spaces and the future of warfare. Nadya holds a MA in Intercultural Communications and is also pursuing her second Bachelors degree in Political Science at the University of Vienna

Patrick Tiefenbacher

​Patrick is currently the Executive Director of Global Goals Political Consulting and offers 20 years of experience in development effectiveness and strategic planning at global, regional and country level. A recognized RBM expert, Patrick chaired the UN Strategic Planning Network, managed UNDP’s development effectiveness team, and led the secretariats of the Global Partnerships for Effective Development Cooperation and the International Aid Transparency Initiative. Previously he served as UNEP’s first chief of quality assurance, and advised the executive director on corporate results and resource management. Patrick holds a Master of International Affairs from Columbia University and a Magister of Philosophy (Political Science and Chemistry) from Universität Wien.
